Refunds

Overview

The Refunds module allows businesses to view, issue, and manage refunds based on consumers, currencies, payment processors, and other parameters. Refunds can be partial or total, and each refund transaction receives a unique identifier for full traceability.

Refund requests are always routed through the Paytiko system and can be issued in two ways:

  1. By entering a transaction, pressing the Refund button, selecting the amount, and confirming the request.

  2. Through an API integration, where a refund can also be processed via an existing Pay-Out request (status: requested).

Key Features

  • Segmented view for refund management

  • Color-coded refund processing statuses

  • Unique refund ID numbers

  • Personalized dashboard layout

  • Easier reporting and filtering options

  • Support for partial and total refunds

  • Refunds linked directly to the original Pay-In transaction

  • Availability via dashboard actions or API requests

How It Works

  1. Access the desired transaction in the dashboard.

  2. Click Refund and choose the required amount (full or partial).

  3. Confirm the request — a unique refund ID is generated.

  4. Refund is assigned a colored processing status for easy tracking.

  5. Refunds can be filtered and exported by column headers, providing flexibility for operations and reporting.
